Happy Almost Middle-of-May!
Hey there Gemini! The days are longer, the end of the school year is fast approaching, and our thoughts turn to bridges, courts of awards, and summer funshine!
First off, a HUGE thank you to Jamie Turner for putting on yet another mighty fine shindig for our May Leader Appreciation Dinner!
And congratulations to the Gemini volunteers who were recognized by GSSEF with an adult award last Monday. You all make Gemini the best service unit in GSSEF – there’s none better!
Cookie Reward Update
Are we still talking about cookies? You know we are!
We’ve received word that Little Brownie has shipped out their missing rewards, so if you are still missing rewards we will hopefully be receiving them very shortly.
As it stands, here’s the status on other rewards:
Disney e-gift cards and Lululemon gift cards have been delivered electronically to families.
All electronic rewards have been ordered and shipped.
Amazon vouchers and Nike by You gift cards will be fulfilled this week. Nike will be a physical gift card mailed directly to the girl.
Chatty Snaps are available now at GSSEF retail stores.- Crossover Patches will be delivered in the coming months directly to families during the summer months

• Girls who did NOT complete the form: Items will ship to Council HQ. Families
must coordinate pickup.

Physical Universal Gift Cards & Nike Gift Cards:
• Shipped to Council HQ, then sent to girls by certified mail.
• ETA: Late May.
• Council will email you and provide you with tracking info once shipped.
Other Extreme Team Gift Cards (E-Gift Cards):
• Sent by email from your address verification form.
• Lululemon, Ticketmaster & Disney have been ordered and delivered to families.

• If no address verification form was completed, gift cards will be delayed.
Amazon Voucher Tips
f your Girl Scout selected an Amazon voucher as her reward, please read the following tips carefully before redeeming:
✅What You Need to Know
1. This is not a standard Amazon gift card. The voucher is only valid for items listed in the Amazon Extreme Team Catalog. It cannot be used to shop across the entire Amazon site.
2. Tax is included. The amount of your voucher covers both item cost and applicable taxes.
3. Be signed in to the correct Amazon account! The voucher will automatically apply to the account currently signed in on the device used
to open the voucher email.
Double check that you’re signed into the correct account before opening the link.
4. Amazon Prime required for free shipping. The Amazon account must have Prime to receive Prime shipping benefits on the catalog items.
5. You can pay the difference if your item is more than your voucher.
Example: If your cart total is $122.18 and you have a $100 voucher, $100 will be applied and you’ll pay $22.18 out of pocket.
6. Confirmation goes to your Amazon account email. Your order confirmation will be sent to the email address associated with your Amazon account.
7. GSSEF is monitoring catalog availability. The Product Program team will check the catalog regularly and do our best to replace any out-of-stock items with a similar product.
8. Vouchers must be used within 30 days. Unused vouchers will be returned to GSSEF after 30 days and will no longer be valid.

Troop Finance Reports Due June 30
Don’t be like me and wait until the last possible minute! Our annual troop financial reports are due to GSSEF by the end of June! Now is the time to get your bank statements / account spreadsheets / paper check register / little envelope of receipts (or however else you choose to manage your troop’s finances) together!
It’s easier than doing your own taxes! (And faster too, unless you’re like me and wait until the last minute)
You can find the report form in VTK. Log in through MyGS then click on Volunteer Toolkit, then the Finance tab. You’ll need a copy of your most recent (May) bank statement as well as a breakdown of your troop’s income and expenses.
