Changes to the Service Unit Team
Special thanks and much love to Aimee Aycock who is stepping down as service unit treasurer, and welcome to Robin Roberts who has stepped up to take over the role.

Girl Scouts and COVID-19
Just a reminder that St Lucie County requires masks to be worn when in the public and when social distancing is not possible. As it pertains to Girl Scouts, we may now meet with groups larger than 10, as long as masks are worn and social distancing is maintained.
Day trips are now being approved. Overnight trips can be scheduled for the future, but will not be approved for trips in the immediate future. Please consider transportation in your planning.
If you are required to move meeting locations, because of meeting place restrictions or for any other reason please remember to update your meeting location with council.
Upcoming Council Activities
There are a number of council-level activities that are happening soon:
- Centennial of Suffrage – Throughout the month of August (register at any time)
- Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey In A Day (DBJ, CSA) – August 29
- Feeding Florida Together – drive runs until August 31
- Rock The Noc – Save the date! – March 14, 2020

Don’t Forget To Renew Your Troop!
Renewal for the 2020-2021 season is ongoing! If you haven’t renewed for the upcoming year, please do so ASAP! The new Girl Scout year begins October 1, so don’t wait until the last minute! You can renew your girls online at MyGS.
What About New Girl Scouts?
We are still looking for a few new Girl Scouts! GSSEF has two very successful online Jump Start programs called Lead Her Into Girl Scouts and Jump Into Girl Scouts. If you know a girl who’s looking to get into Girl Scouts, you can point them to the GSSEF Facebook page, where the events are listed.
Fall Into Girl Scouting is coming, and is a fun activity for both new scouts and old!
If you have room in your troop for other girls, please let us know!
Also, if you know of a business or other location where we could add flyers, please let us know!
Ingathering!
We know it’s a long time out, but we have Ingathering scheduled for March 26 – 28, 2021! If you have paid for last year’s Ingathering, and did not receive a refund, your payment can be credited toward this year’s event!
